Philosophy of Care:
I believe in Availability, Affability and Ability. Every woman has her own and different needs for medical care. I try to provide the kind of personalized care that I feel a lady deserves. The kind that I would expect for my wife or mother. My patients have direct access to me through my cell phone and can reach me any time.
Favorite Aspect of the Physician/Patient Relationship:
Everything about it, from the first hello to the last handshake and goodbye.
Most importantly, I treasure the trust, the privilege and honor to empathically treat my patients.
Reason for Choosing This Field of Medicine:
For many years I felt miserable and unable to help my patients who suffered from different pelvic floor and urinary problems. I would see them waste time going through different specialties of Urology, Proctology and Gynecology and often times receive suboptimal care. The need for the subspecialty of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery was long felt and finally accredited fellowship programs became available to meet that need. After my board certification, I chose to do a three year fellowshipto be able to serve my patients with the best possible care and the most advanced and up to date treatments that htey deserve.
Hobbies:
Family time and laughing with my kids, Basketball, Soccer, Ski, Chess and Poker
