Philosophy of Care:
Healing takes place within the therapeutic relationship, and people find their own inner strength to help them realize their full potential. My job is to help them heal their pain through education, awareness and support and then guide them through the process of meeting their own goals.
Favorite Aspect of the Physician/Patient Relationship:
The relationship that develops between us and the tremendous growth I witness.
Reason for Choosing This Field of Medicine:
Having entered therapy at the age of 24 during a very difficult time in my life, I was astonished and thrilled to find my psychologist talked like I thought, and I knew it was the field for me. That process awakened my awareness and changed my life forever. It took me another 25 years to realize my dream of becoming a psychologist and complete the many years of education it took to be able to practice on my own.
