Health Plans

Mission Surgery Center accepts most major health plans, including (but not limited to):

• Aetna (HMO and PPO)
• Blue Cross (HMO and PPO)
• Blue Shield (HMO and PPO)
• Cigna (HMO and PPO)
• Healthnet (HMO and PPO)
• Medicare
• Pacificare (HMO and PPO)/United Health Care

Payment

During your pre-operative visit and/or telephone call, arrangements will be made for payment of services. Arrangements will vary depending on your insurance coverage. Payment of co-pays and deductibles is expected on the day of surgery.

You will receive bills from Mission Surgery Center, your anesthesiologist, your surgeon and a pathologist or radiologist, if required.

As a courtesy, Mission Surgery Center will bill your insurance company if you have provided us with completed insurance forms or all necessary information. It is your responsibility to ensure timely payment. If your insurance company fails to reimburse Mission Surgery Center for the surgical services provided, you will be held financially responsible for the account balance.
